A native of Minnesota, Bill graduated from Macalester College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Finance. Following service with the U.S. Army, he was associated with Paine, Webber, Jackson & Curtis in their institutional department.

Bill joined Colony Capital Management in 1974 and now serves as its President. He is also portfolio manager for equity and fixed income investments and a member of the Investment Policy Committee.

In addition to Board Service with ACM, Bill serves on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army-Atlanta Command and has served on the Board of Theological Horizons. He has actively worked with ACM’s Men’s Ministry. He and his wife Julie have two grown daughters and are members of Peachtree Presbyterian Church.
