Megan Linger, Director of The Intersect Project
The Intersect Project started in 2006, largely with ACM's help. We had an ardent desire within the church to become more active in our community, but we didn't know how. We have a large congregation, so it’s hard to deploy that many people without an established system. Therefore, we needed help to create opportunities to connect people with service opportunities in the community. Our leadership pulled in Dan early; he was hugely instrumental.
We have an ongoing relationship with ACM. We meet with them at least quarterly, but it's common for me to be on the phone or at least emailing them weekly to make sure everything is going smoothly among our various nonprofit partners. ACM helps us maintain relationships and keep those relationships healthy.
