Jon and Debra Carr
Carr MinistriesOur involvement with ACM has been invaluable on several levels.
From a personal standpoint, I’ve been attending the Men’s Bible Study for approximately 9 months. The Bible study does not only challenge me to live out my faith. But it also provides me with encouragement, strength, and camaraderie through my brothers in Christ who attend. I am so fortunate to meet each week with other men who give of themselves to support each other in prayer and in anyway possible.
Carr Ministries’ vision is to evangelize and equip urban families. ACM provides opportunities for us to do just that. Our ACM volunteer service at the Salvation Army Red Shield affords us the opportunity to minister to children each Tuesday night. In addition, each Wednesday afternoon we teach a financial mentoring class which provides adults with the knowledge to help to transform their financial situation. ACM allows us to fulfill the call of God on our lives.
SAPNET addresses a major issue facing the youth that we minister to, substance abuse. My involvement with SAPNET provides the parents, churches, teachers and students in my community with the education and resources needed to save a generation.
A new ministry networking is critical. Through Dan and ACM I have been able to have what we call “Divine Connections” with others we can help through our ministry and those who have helped us in our ministry.
Carr Ministries exist today because of God’s Grace, our supporters, and our involvement with ACM. Daily, we thank God for the ministry of ACM.
Sincerely,
Jon Carr
