This multi-faceted ministry to the central Atlanta Summerhill
community does tutoring, home restoration, spiritual
counseling, special meals, men’s fellowships,
and other special projects to help redevelop neighborhoods
in partnership with other local community service organizations.

Interracial Partnerships
One of the things ACM feels most strongly about is creating
a multi-cultural organization and helping bridge various
racial and ethnic divides in Atlanta. This free-form
ministry that encompasses churches andother institutions
puts on multi-racial programs, hikes, dinners, prayer
meetings, men’s gatherings, and many other activities
to foster interracial cooperation.

One City…Many Voices
Begun primarily as a benefit concert for ACM, this once-a-year
concert at non-church Atlanta venues (Fox Theater, Trolley
Barn, etc.) seeks to minister to the “music loving”
segment of Atlanta. Volunteers produce this concert,
in addition to the work leading up to it. Past performers
include Third Day, Margaret Becker, Ashley Cleveland,
Ginny Owens, Ken Ford, Adam McKnight, Gwen Hughes, and
Pierce Pettis.

Way of Life Seminars
This ministry conducts periodic trainings and workshops
to help people become “spiritual leaders as a
way of life,” as well as other seminars that teach
“how to share Christ as a Way of Life.”
These trainings can be scheduled on weekend days and
on certain week nights.

ACM is engaged in formal partnerships with several Atlanta
churches to be of assistance in engaging their membership
in cutting edge ministry in the community.
Case for Faith
This ministry conducts seminars to address the intellectual
questions regarding a relationship with Christ. Seminars
with questions ad answers sections are led by scholars
and other qualified individuals. James Davie is the
team leader.

Dan Hayes Speaking Ministry
Dan Hayes, Executive Director and founder of ACM, is
available to speak on many topics and to audiences in
faith and non-faith arenas. Topics include “Why
Couples Break Up,” “How To Avoid Being A
Successful Failure,” “Sex and the Search
for Intimacy,” and many other talks on how to
build successful volunteer programs.

Building Ministries
Men’s Ministry
This ministry conducts Bible Study and evangelistic
outreach to business and professional men of all ages
to meet their need for friendship as well as their spiritual
needs. These men meet on Friday mornings for Bible Study,
then they meet one-on-one with each other or other acquaintances
during the week for prayer, study, or evangelism. This
ministry was initiated in March 1996 by Dan Hayes and
Marbury Rainer. Dan Hayes currently teaches this Friday
morning study.

This is a dynamic mentoring program designed to empower, inspire, and equip mature Christian women who desire to mentor others. Founded and led by Ann Platz it reaches across denominations and cultures. For information contact annplatz@flash.net.
Grace and Truth
One of our most popular ministries is a Bible study
for women in their 20’s and 30’s. This study
encourages personal as well as spiritual growth and
meets in the homes of the leaders in the Buckhead area.

World of Writers
This group currently ministers to writers in Atlanta,
encouraging them to use their gift of writing to
keep their “minds flowing and their spirits
growing.” The ministry presents opportunities
for writers to share what they have written and to
encourage each other. “World of Writers” meets
the fourth Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at
Calvin Court on E. Paces Ferry Road. For further

Love-All Tennis Ministry
This ministry includes tennis players from around the
city. In addition to meeting the unique needs of tennis
players, it also allows opportunity for spiritual input
and growth. This ministry is in the process of developing
major Atlanta outreaches to tennis players.
One Tree Hill
One of ACM’s music ministries, One Tree Hill,
has released three CD’s and is in great demand
around Atlanta and the South in secular and sacred venues.
Fronted by Patrick Lloyd, a former attorney and also
a wheelchair bound, it is a unique band with a unique
sound and message.

Faith In Prayer
Led by Allison Williams, this on-line ministry (www.faithinprayer.org ) allows people to submit their prayer requests and have them prayed for in a timely manner. It also allows them to update answers and responses. Already there have been many prayers and many answers recorded. To submit a request email contact@faithibnprayer.org. To volunteer to pray for requests on the site , email the same address indicating a willingness to intercede.
Kindred Spirit
Led by Sharon Green and Carol Covington, this ministry
(now its own 501(c)3 organization) is committed to
helping pregnant teens learn marketable skills by
helping them work along side of, and with, dogs.
The teens also learn something about unconditional
love in a setting that points them to God’s

Pickin’ And Fiddlin’
This bluegrass band / gospel music ministry is led by Elizabeth Brooks and reaches into retirement communities, tennis centers, club meetings, and parties to spread the joy of music and of moving closer to God through all the varied circumstances of life. Prayer Ministry
This ministry utilizes the largest single number of
ACM volunteers. It is also the “molten core”
of ACM by being one of its most important power generators.
Volunteers agree to pray for “7 Crucial Requests”
for 30 days.
Wings of Love
Led by Karen Pressley, a former
Scientologist, this ministry is designed to help people
come to grips with Biblical Truths that will help them
evaluate and leave destructive religious practices and
beliefs.
Karen founded Wings of Love Ministries with a three-fold purpose: to
encourage women to be all they can be for Kingdom purposes; to mobilize
believers for Christ; and to minister God’s Word to families influenced
by cults, especially Scientology. Karen conducts seminars and does personal appointments.
